Official Leaving Date!

Finally, all of the craziness revolving around my plane tickets has been settled. My flight leaves early in the morning from Sky Harbor on September 5. I have a 2-hour layover in Dallas (I know...wrong direction), and then I'm in the sky for Narita International Airport in Tokyo! Fortunately, volunteers from my university will be there to pick me up and help me move into my dorm.

As of now, I'll probably leave for Phoenix either August 31st or September 1st. A couple days in Phoenix for last minute arrangements, and then I'm gone for a year.
